ESP – an Electronic Sailing Permit for the security of maritime borders. No system is currently on offer on any world market that would put an end to security risks posed by small vessels in the national maritime domain. ESP answers that dilemma effectively.

EPSIEN: European Port Security Information Exchange Network. Attacks on the transport infrastructure, whether involving criminals or terrorists are often preceded by preparatory acts or incidents designed to test existing security systems. Viewed in isolation they may not be identified as part of a pattern of activity and this new, EC funded, project is to identify the human and organisational and technical steps necessary in facilitating the co-ordination of information between European ports to address this issue.
